Account Management & Marketing Assistant Intern   Position Summary The Account Management & Marketing Assistant Intern supports the Wholesale team in all functions related to merchandise, sample coordination, vendor communications, proofreading, presentations and other projects.  This position will be based out of our Chicago, IL headquarters and will require the ability to work at times at our Distribution Center in Forest Park, IL. Must be able to receive college credit.        Scope of Responsibilities - Assists in product sample coordination, organization, maintenance and execution for trade shows, showrooms and sales reps. - Assists in sample coordination in photography and online organizational process for new product. - Assists in maintaining vendor communication and new vendor processes. - Assists in proofing calendars, marketing pieces, and other Paper Source branded goods. - Attends departmental strategy meetings. - Fills out vendor set up forms and item forms for new customers. - Interacts with various departments beyond Merchandising Planning and Allocation including Supply Chain, Product Production, Merchandising and Marketing teams. - Assists in Purchase Order Management including uploading, sending and tracking POs. - Communicates with Merchant and Planners on all purchase order activity. - Supports merchants in preparing for presentations to cross functional teams including sales rep presentation and customer line reviews. - Develops understanding for go-to-market calendar and tracks to meet deadlines. - Analyzes sales to report rep show sales, sales driven via rep samples, catalog placement and marketing driving activity.   Qualifications - Has experience with Outlook, Excel and Word. - Detail oriented and self-starter. - Career interests in business, vendor and / or retail management is preferred. - Candidate must display a positive, can-do attitude and be an active team player. - Able to interact and engage with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Candidate acts as a brand representative when interacting with external business partners. - Creative and innovative thinker. - Candidate must have high degree of flexibility and a track record of quickly adapting to an ever-changing environment. - Demonstrates problem solving skills. - Effective organizational skills for managing multiple tasks at once.     Requirements - 25-30 hours per week or in accordance with college course requirements. - Must be able to receive college credit. - Must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled in an accredited college or university. - Must be able to work at headquarters in downtown Chicago, IL and our Distribution Center in Forest Park, IL.

Seasonal/Part-Time Relief Typesetting Team Member   This position reports directly to the Personalized Shop Production Supervisor and will be based out of the Paper Source Distribution Facility (7801 Industrial Drive, Forest Park, IL 60130).    Position Summary The Seasonal/Part-Time Relief position helps to support wedding season business February through April.  There are occasional short term needs throughout the year due to promotion business.    Typesetting responsibilities include performing complex text processing, order revisions and customer communication.  Pre-Press responsibilities include creation of a print layout, digital printing, and the steps in-between. The chief focus is to produce an end result of a high-quality finished product for our customer. They are expected to work collaboratively with all team members and be flexible to changes in workflow while promoting a positive work environment in the Personalized Shop and Distribution Center.   Essential Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities   - Customer Service - Leads by example and exemplify the Paper Source Customer Service Experience at all times with both internal team members and external vendors. - Professional engagement and follow up communication via phone/email with both internal team members and external vendors. - Maintains a partnership with the Customer Care Team to resolve customer services requests and escalations. - Responsible for management of on-time delivery and resolution of escalated issues.   - Typesetting Daily Operations - Sets type in inDesign for new Paper Source custom print orders; verifying order information, proofreading text, confirming the layout is to the customer’s liking and that typesetting and revisions are completed within the required time frame. - Managing a high volume of email correspondence with customer and stores including service scenarios. - Preparing approved typesetting for Pre-Press.   Attributes - Demonstrates passion for the Paper Source brand and its products. - Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multi task. - Ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure order consistency and accuracy. - Ability to articulate thoughts into clear and concise written and verbal communication. - Ability to work cohesively with our DC, HQ and field team, maintaining a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude. - Demonstrates excellent typing, proofreading and grammar skills. - Demonstrated superb attention to detail and a keen eye for design.       Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience as a Typesetter, Production, Artist or Designer. - Invitations or printing background preferred. - Proficient on MAC platform, including expertise in Adobe InDesign, and knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel and Acrobat. - Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business.
